About AfriPeace Foundation

AfriPeace Foundation was founded by Dr. Ernest Uwazie, Professor of Criminal Justice and Director of the Center for African Peace & Conflict Resolution (CAPCR) at California State University, Sacramento. The foundation was created to strengthen relationships between the United States and Africa through community-led peace education and cultural exchange.

We believe that both the U.S. and Africa have valuable knowledge, experiences, and perspectives to share. By bringing youth, educators, and professionals together across continents, we help build understanding, collaboration, and lasting networks that support peace and positive social development.
