You've made me cry! There is sooo much emotion and power in what you have said. I can't put into words the thoughts, feelings and emotions that came from reading your blog. I'm so proud of you. Your growing up! And yes, your adventure is only beginning.

I'm making a printout of your blog so that your Dad can read it tonight. Love you. Joni

So good to hear from you! I know you must be happy and sad all at the same time. And I promise you the first thing we'll do when we get home is get you that burger and shake.
Looking forward to all the amazing stories you must have and mostly just to have you home.
See you on Thursday.
Love Mom

Ryan - Dad and I read your last blog today. I know what you mean about the time seeming endless and then, suddenly, you are nearing the end of your stay. You haven't left yet, but, perhaps, you miss it already. You passed on some interesting facts about how the families live. I was interested to read that. Well, here's to a full enjoyment of your last days there. Have fun, and we'll see you at the S.F. airport. Dad & I are coming to get you so have your stories ready for the ride home! Love you!

I MISS YOU!!! I've been kicking myself in the teeth since I missed your call. I have never felt so crappy. You have to have been in every one of my dreams since you left. (a lot of them have been of you coming home early, but then I wake up hella sad that it was just a dream) You wouldn't believe how many hugs and kisses you have waiting for you! All of my family misses you and so do all the guys.
All of my love and thoughts go to you sweetie.

Love,
Taylor

I got my macbook. very fun fun and very cool. you will see when you get home, only 8 more days to go. dad got tickets to the first cal game, so that will be fun. dad's tv looks really good even though it isn't hd yet. You can hug the gosselins it is so big. the newspaper format has been changed, and it looks weird. all color comics. and stuff like that. mom and i went shopping today. first we went to arden and the apple store. mom got her shuffle. we would have gotten you a free touch but we didn't qualify. then we went to bestbuy and looked for the piece to use the extra hard drive from the other laptop. but we didn't get it because it was too expensive. then we went to cosco and got gas and snacks. then cotten club or something, mom wanted to get a dress but she said she was too old, she wanted to get it for you but there is a short return policy so if you don't like it we are stuck. dad has gotten back from two days of travel. on tuesday he went to monterey. today he went to reno. he is tired, very tired. right now i am watching jon and kate. they are organizing with beth. also right back one more time. like what do you want us to bring when we pick you up, so you remember what was going on in the world. like piggy or people magazine. eeeewwwwww, they are having a commercial for zip'n'steam you put veggies in a bag and then put it in the microwave. what else. oh yeah i can add to my fort with the tv box. mom is at work, this is her first in the series. the end of project runway is on, i don't really know the people, i will watch it with you. i havn't really watched gg without you all i've watch were the ones on tv. tonight ned across the street had a branch hanging from his tree and he was going to clim up and cut it off at like 9 at night and the branch was like 20 feet up. so jerry and dad went out and helped him. well i think i will sign off now please write back.
Hi Ben, great to see read your blog! Sounds as if the homestay and hardwork went very well. I can't wait to see you model your African outfit. Enjoy your last week of travel. Remember how we hit the wall in China and later were ready to stay longer. Mom
